ERICA'S KITCHEN: My Cooking Classes
Cooking and having fun!
One of my passions is cooking. When I was diagnosed with SLE which is a form of lupus, I knew that there was no cure. I watched my mother suffer from this same disease. She left this earth when I was still very young. I miss her immensely. In an effort to stay healthy, my doctor put me on a special diet that helps to heal my body. This forced me to reinvent some old recipes to make them healthier for me.
With this came the birth of Erica's Kitchen: Recipes that Heal. All of my recipes have been copyrighted.
Now, I have a cooking class once a month at my home. I just charge for the food and have my students give a donation to a school in Cambodia. The school is called the Goldstone School of HOPE Worldwide. It is a school for the poor and for students who are talented. The school provides excellent education as well as classes in English and computer so that these students can help build their country for the future. The class meets the third or fourth Friday of every month.
